Blind Contour Drawing
My process for this drawing was to use contour lines to create not only an outline of the figure, but also the interior features. I first started in the lower left of the figure at the toes and feet, and then continued to slowly move up toward the shoulders. I focused on starting with a light outline of the body part, and then tried to use contour lines to show surface detail. Although my drawing may look heavy and chaotic, I definitely think that it expresses the figure as a whole, not just an outline.
