For the second half of the semester I have been dedicating a large majority of my time to my industrial design studio course Art and Science in Production. We have been working on a furniture project using bent plywood and steel. The initial process of ideation sketching was followed by revised renderings that where the 3 best ideas. Below, I have posted two of my renderings to show how the subtle use of contour lines really helps give the form a more 3 dimensional feel. Overall, life drawing has really helped me use contours to show geometric and abstract forms.
